The WESET Staff training week has been held at the University of Valladolid from March 9 -13, 2020.<\/p>\n
The training was attended by academics and students from Tunisia, Egypt and Jordan. During the five-day meeting, presentations of institutions and Wind Energy Centres were carried out, along with technical presentations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
The staff visited laboratories of the Institute of Sustainable Processes and of the Industrial Engineering School. At the final day, there were some discussions regarding involvement in WESET Wind Energy Centres and huge progress was made for future activities and bilateral meetings.<\/p>\n

Centre for Renewable Energy – Wind Division announces a training course of “Fundamentals of Wind Energy” on January, 22nd and 23rd<\/p>\n
The course will cover the following topics:
\n1- Introduction to wind energy and wind turbines.
\n2- Wind micro siting
\n4- Wind farm planning
\n5- Wind energy economics
\n6- Aerodynamics of wind turbines
\n7- Control of wind turbines
\n8- Electrical aspects of wind turbines<\/p>\n
The course will be held at the BUE-A-213.
